Living a Cyber Life
People are spending increasing amounts of time online, to the extent that a large part of their lives are often lived in cyber space. Finding romance there is becoming a regular practice. There is mystery and magic, in meeting a stranger online, having a relationship grow and then finding true love. Though love can blossom online, it cannot live there. It has to make its way into the real world, so it can grow into a truly meaningful relationship between two people,who are destined to spend their lives together.
Reality Bites
The move from the cyber world to the real one can be traumatic. You may find that your feelings towards the love of your life, remains unchanged, or may even have become stronger. However, the shift to reality may have been too much for the object of your love and the feelings you have, may no longer be reciprocated. It may not be your fault or have anything to do with you. Bringing the magical love from the mysterious depths of cyber space, into the harsh light of reality, can put a totally different connotation, resulting in fear, uncertainty, insecurity and other negative emotions. This could spell the end of love. Or, if you know what to do, It could be just a hurdle, which, when overcome, will make the love bond even stronger for both of you.
Casting a Spell
The cliché of having someone cast a spell to capture a heart and cause love to grow is an old and overused one. However, like many such clichés, it has very ancient and real origins. Love cannot be explained by logic or reason. It either exists or it does not. It is natural for humans to try and find ways to get what they want, even if it is not available to them. Love is a great example of this. In olden times people went to witches to have love spells cast on the object of their affections, hoping that their love would be returned. The fact that the legend and the clichés have remained so strong over the centuries means that they were not just folk lore. There was a kernel of truth to them.
That is why witches still exist today, to cast their love spells on behalf of those who come to them for help. Magic does not mean that once the spell is cast, you can sit back and do nothing.
